In Grabyo Live, the Asset Library is the shared media area where teams store, organise, find, and manage the production assets used across control rooms. It is an account-level resource: assets added once are available wherever the account’s workflows need them.
Video walkthrough
This walkthrough tours the Asset Library page and the actions available on an asset.
Where the Asset Library sits
Grabyo Live uses a unified interface with shared navigation across areas such as Home, Shows, Asset Library, and Account Management. The Asset Library is part of that shared platform experience rather than something held inside a single live room.
Three areas do three distinct jobs:
Asset Library stores and organises reusable production assets.
Control rooms are where operators use those assets in live production.
Shows track the resulting production record and recordings.
Common tasks
Find an asset
Open ASSET LIBRARY from the platform navigation.
Search for the asset name, event, brand, or production keyword.
Apply any available filters, such as asset type, status, owner, or date, to narrow the results.
Check the asset row, thumbnail, or details view to confirm the correct item is selected.
Preview, download, or use an asset
Select the asset from the library list or table.
Use the preview or details view to confirm the file is correct and production-ready.
Use DOWNLOAD, where available, only when a local copy is required.
To use the asset in production, open the relevant control room and select the shared asset from the available options, where supported by the workflow.
Upload or add an asset
Select the upload or add action, if available for your permissions.
Choose the file or asset type required by the production workflow.
Add a clear name and any required metadata so other users can find the asset later.
Wait for the status indicator to show the asset is ready before using it in a control room.
Why it matters
A shared library improves scale, consistency, and operational speed across productions.
Consistency — approved assets are reused across multiple productions.
Efficiency — operators spend less time re-uploading or recreating the same items.
Collaboration — multiple users work from a common asset set.
Flexibility — asset updates support live and near-live production needs.
Governance — shared assets are easier to control at platform level than across isolated room stores.
