Shows — Running and Finished

Written by Yoanna Hristova

The Shows page is split into two tabs. Running lists productions that are active right now. Finished lists productions that have ended and acts as the route into their recordings. This article covers what each tab shows, how they differ, and how to locate the right Show in either.

The two tabs at a glance

Tab

Focus

Typical use

Running

Active productions still in progress.

Operational monitoring, live status checks, elapsed duration tracking, and reaching the control room.

Finished

Completed productions that have ended.

Review, playback, verification, download, and post-production follow-up.

Working in the Running tab

Use Running to confirm which productions are active and how long they have been going. Selecting a Show’s row or its control-room option opens the workspace, so monitoring and management continue from there rather than from the Shows list.

When a production ends it leaves the Running tab and appears under Finished. Switch tabs to pick it up for review.

Working in the Finished tab

Finished supports four practical workflows once live production has ended.

Operational verification

Confirm a production ran at the expected time and for the expected duration — useful when checking a scheduled event completed correctly.

Recording review

Open a finished Show to review its recording for quality checks, editorial review, and production sign-off.

Selection and export

Move from the list into the recording view to choose layers and export the required portion, where recording tools are available.

Production tracking

Maintain visibility of historical activity across control rooms, supporting reporting, oversight, and usage tracking.

Because a Show can carry multiple recorded layers — Program, clean feeds without graphics, language versions, ISO source recordings, and selectable audio tracks — the Finished tab matters for downstream editorial work, not only for record-keeping.

How to locate a finished Show for review

  1. Open the SHOWS section in Grabyo Live (P2K).

  2. Select the FINISHED tab.

  3. Identify the Show using NAME, STARTED, FINISHED, DURATION, and CONTROL ROOM together.

  4. Open the Show’s recording or playback view, then continue in Shows — Recording.
