Tags are shared labels used in Setup to identify media resources and organise them into operational groups. They make it easier to find, filter, and manage cameras, commentators, graphics, highlights, logos, replays, breaks, layers, slates, wipes, and live sources.

Tag creation
Go to SETUP > TAGS.
Select CREATE TAG.
Enter a NAME.
Add a short DESCRIPTION.
Choose a COLOUR.
Save the tag.
Field | Purpose |
Name | The visible tag label users apply to resources, for example Camera 1 or Logo On. |
Description | Explains what the tag should be applied to. |
Colour | Provides a visual cue so related tag families are easier to identify. |
Naming conventions
Use title case to match the existing tag list.
Use the resource type first, followed by the number or state — for example Camera 1 or Logo Off.
Use All for group tags — for example All Cameras.
Use clear descriptions beginning with “For tagging…” where appropriate.
Keep colour coding consistent across related tag families.
Good practice
Use the existing tag families before creating new labels.
Use group tags for broad filtering and numbered tags for specific resources.
Do not create duplicate or one-off tags that will not be reused.
Keep descriptions and colour coding consistent.
