Optimising for accuracy and latency
Every audio track is different. Two adjustments help you reach the highest quality transcription.
Setting | What it does |
Delay | Controls the timing of the captioning process. A longer delay gives the AI engine more time to process the audio, improving accuracy at the cost of higher latency |
Volume threshold | Filters out background sound in noisy environments so the AI focuses on the primary speech, giving cleaner text output |
Tailoring your vocabulary
Standard AI transcription models can struggle with specialised language. The custom dictionary at the bottom of the captioning tab lets you enter proper names, brand terminology or any unusual vocabulary specific to your video, so it is spelled correctly every time.
✅ Tip: Populate the custom dictionary with player, presenter and sponsor names before the show — it is the single biggest improvement to caption quality on sports and branded content.
